WestSide Athletic Club offers yoga right here in Powells Point in Lower Currituck County.  Close by to Southern Shores and even closer to those who live or work in Currituck. Join Carly for an hour of yoga on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings. New schedule starts in September.

Yoga is an excellent way to begin or end your day.  Its benefits include increased flexibility, muscle strength and tone, improved respiration and energy.  One of the biggest benefits that it reduces stress.  These days, we need all the help we can get. Connecting the breathing with the physical postures creates body awareness, relaxes the mind, and improves mental clarity.

Yoga classes are free for members and $10 to Drop In.

Carly has been an RYT 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered instructor since January 2014. She earned her teaching certification from The Amalam School of Yoga at Outer Banks Yoga in Kitty Hawk, NC. She enjoys teaching a multi-level vinyasa style practice to give everyone access to the class.
